Thank you for visiting our online source of information about Majestic Child Care and Learning Centers, Inc. Our administrator and qualified teachers are eager to provide preschoolers and school age children with quality, affordable services in our nonprofit child care learning center.
We recognize parents want the best for their children. That's one reason why we offer a program curriculum that is developmentally-appropriate and designed to enhance children's cognitive, emotional, social and physical development.
By working together, in the child's best interest, parents and staff at Majestic Child Care do the very best to ensure each child has an enjoyable, memorable, and educational child care experience.
One of our goals is to make services accessible to as many children as possible. As such, Majestic Child Care accepts both private pay and Title-XX qualified recipients. Additionally, our center has 501(c)(3) tax exempt recognition from the Internal Revenue Service. This means we are able to accept tax-deductible contributions, to the extent allowable by law, from individuals and organizations in support of our programs and services. Anyone who is interested in making cash or non-cash donations is encouraged to contact us. Each donation takes us a step closer toward achieving our program goals.

Philosophy
Majestic Child Care and Learning Center believes the child is an integral part of the family unit, and that the parent is the most important teacher and role model in a child's life. We believe that an enviroment that is clean, safe, nurturing and educational, is essential for the child's physical and mental growth and development. We also believe, by providing such an enviroment, parents who take advantage of our services can be assured that their children are receiving the best of care.
Background
Majestic Child Care, Inc. was established as an Ohio nonprofit corporation on September 1, 1998. By December that same year, Majestic had applied for and received exemption from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. On January 2, 2001, Majestic Child Care began center operations at its current location, in the CMHA Meadows community, 4855 Pintail Creek Drive, Canal Winchester, OH. (See the Contact Us page for Driving Directions.) And, in August 2002, the name was officially changed to Majestic Child Care and Learning Centers, Inc. to reflect the Board of Trustees' vision for expanded services and locations.
Currently, Majestic Child Care and Learning Centers is governed by a 4-member Board of Trustees. The Administrator, Connie Dowdy, also founded the organization and she serves as president and chief executive officer.

Licensing
Majestic Child Care and Learning Center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services/Bureau of Child Care Services to serve 42 children (12 preschoolers, and 18 schoolage children). The center maintains the following ratios:
